7 Steps for Establishing the Right Business Model

Most technical entrepreneurs focus hard on building an innovative product, but forget that an elegant solution doesn’t automatically translate into a successful business. Businesses require an equally elegant business model, with the right price, messaging and delivery channel to the right target customers to keep the dream alive and growing.

Defining the right business model requires the same diligence as designing the right product, but the approach and skills required are different. That’s why investors acknowledge that two co-founders are often better than one — with one focusing on the technical solution, and the other focusing on defining and building the business model. These two jobs need to be done in parallel.

The first project meeting was held on 2 and 3 of November 2017. Let’s scale up!

On 2 and 3 of November was held the first project meeting of the partners from STEPS2SCALE project co-funded by the ERASMUS + programme of the European Union, hosted by the coordinator Bulgarian Industrial Association. The meeting was attended by representatives of all partner’s oreganization.

Every partner starts with short introduction of his host organization and core activities. The  partners had discussion of the project activities, coomunication and dissemination strategy, financial and administrational issues. The partners agreed with the proposed governance structure of the project and had discussion about the development of the harmozed qualification framework, which will be developed with the contribution of every partner. The meeting ended with planning of the next activities and stepes within the project.
