José Antonio (Tontxu) Campos Granados is a Professor in the Deusto Business School and in the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Deusto, the Jesuit University in the Basque Country and one of the most prestigious in Business Administration and ICT. His work has been linked to Education and Innovation and Entrepreneurship. He holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration and Economics and a Master´s degree in Advanced Management. During his professional life, Tontxu Campos has been involved in profit and not profit organizations, teaching and consultancy, and also in public and private sectors. He launched Deusto Entrepreneurship Center in 2009 and led until September 2017. Particularly noteworthy is his work as Minister of Education, Universities and Research of the Basque Government for four years. As part of his responsibilities he developed and introduced the integrated curriculum in the Basque Country, focusing on students’ competency development from 0 to 18 years and in vocational training. Entrepreneurship was one of the new competences included in the new curriculum. Previously, Dr. Campos held the position of Provincial Minister of Innovation and Economic Development in Biscay, where he developed entrepreneurship policies to foster innovative start-ups creation as part of the economic recovery process for more than 6 years. He was the chairman of two Business Innovation Centers and a Seed Funding Public-Private Company. Nowadays, Tontxu Campos takes part in several Boards of different start-ups, as well as in a NGO and in the Board of the public Basque Television and Radio Corporation (EITB).
